What specific questions do you have about building a pivot table?

I typed the following into the Answer Wizard in "Help" and found 11 pages of information:

"How do I create a pivot table?"

Buj123,

Not that you asked for my opinion - but I just thought I'd mention to you that I have found it is much easier to create, manipulate, maintain pivot tables in Excel than it is in Access (97 at least).

what I do is I create my pivot tables in excel, then in the database simply put a hyperlink to the excel file.

When I am creating the pivot table - I use external data as the source, and select the table or query from my access database that I want as the data source.

I have found it much easier to maintain the pivot table in excel.

Best of luck to you!

Lisa.
