Hi, i have just installed Visual Studio 2005, and have several questions:

1.- Can i make an .exe file with the basic form i have created, for this exe launch the form?

2.- Does Visual Studio 2005 have the VB last version, and which is that?

3.- Which software is now most reccommended for building a VB project that access to a DB in Microsoft Access? And for that project be accesible from the net?

Thanks.

The VB that comes with Visual Studio 2005 is VB.NET. You'll probably have more luck asking about that here: forum796

I second strongm's post. Also:

1. Yes.
2. No.
3. Depends on whom you ask. If you ask Microsoft, .Net is the way to go, of course.

For more information, post in the .Net forum. :)

I see, thanks strongm and BobRodes.

About 3, BobRodes, .Net for both a local VB project that access to a DB in Microsoft Access and that project be accesible from the net?

And objectively, isn't there any option that arises above the rest?

And about 1, i have looked in Project and File menus and there's nothing about.

Also, i have run the project with Start Debugging option to see if an .exe file is made but it didn't create it.

How would it be?

Thanks.

Actually I am not so sure you are in the wrong forum.
If your intention is to learn about a langauge that has many experts stay here, however if you wish to traverse the unknown then by all means continue on.

Visual Studio 2005 = VB.NET, which is the forum strongm provided a link to. This forum is for VB5/6 questions.

Anyway i have posted the question in the forum you indicated.

Thanks.

<About 3, BobRodes, [etc]

I see no further elaboration on my previous answer that would be helpful. :)
