Hi there,

Server side exch2003sp1 BE & FE servers on w2k3 servers.
On the BE server, created mail enabled public folder to receive emails.

Client side outlook2003sp1 on winxpsp2. Now I would like to copy some of the emails from this public folder to my own inbox, however it said I don't have enough access right & check with your system admin, which is myself.

In ESM, at that public folder's properties, permission tab, client permission, I've the following entries:
default author
administrator owner
anonymous contributor

Wondering what should I do to enable all users access right to copy emails from this public folder to their own inbox?

Many thanks!

If it's SBS 2003 at all, try rerunning the Change User Permissions wizard.

There is likely a security setting somewhere on the public folder that prevents stealing company data as it could also be seen. Or the Organization name has somehow changed.

Exmerge also doesn't work with public folders to export to pst like the mailbox store.

I don't have a server here to test, but I can say I've seen this in the field after disaster-recovery using LegacyDN to rename the Organization name to what it was when the databases were backed up to get them mounted, (after /k and /p) then all I could do was print out the public folder data and re-enter manually as it wouldn't let me export or drag-drop no matter what. So I can't say I was able to fix it, but hope that this info helps...
