Hi everybody!

I have a serial text file which consists of a number of columns. I would like to know if :

1) it is possible to copy one single column from the file into an array? If yes, how to do it?

2) there's any sort function available in VB which will sort the file in any order?

Thanks in advance.

Everything is possible.

1) How will i know what is look like a column so as to select it? Give a part of the file to see.

2) You can create a function to sort them up, but there is also the listbox where you can set the sort property to true.

..

One question you'll have to answer is how the data are stored in your text file. In particular, is it delimited or not?
