Hi all,
An annoying little problem I run into frequently: I connect to the internet via dial-up. My service provider can be iffy, and often Outlook cannot connect to the pop servers for my accounts on its first try. Unfortunately, it then refuses to try again: when I hit "send and receive", it just shows the screen with the previous connection errors, without another attempt to connect. Quitting Outlook and re-starting the program doesn't help - it seems to remember the problem. Sometimes I have to disconnect and re-establish the connection to my dial-up service; sometimes even that doesn't help, and I have to restart the PC. Is there anything I can do to have Outlook un-remember the failed attempt, so it can try again?
(am I making sense?)
