how to connect a computer back into the network

HI All, In my office i had to make a computer standalone, so went into my computer and removed it from the network. But before i could set up a new user name, the system restarted for some reason. Now the old user name and password does not work, obviously it is not in the network anymore. I can only get into the pc as a guest....which does not have any rights to change any configurations. Is there anyway, i can put back the pc into the network?
any suggestion please? On the logon screen, the domain is also missing.

You can only logon as a predefined local user. The default Administrator account should be available to you for a local logon.

Try first using Safe Mode: hit F8 early and often at startup to see the Boot options menu. If you can do a logon as username Administrator in Safe Mode, try it in Normal mode.

If you cannot remember the local Administrator password, or if the local Administrator account was removed as part of Domain policy, you will need to reinstall XP.

hi Thanks for the reply. I managed to speak to the Microsoft helpdesk and got the information i wanted from the website. Obviously the work i did deleted the username i had been using and reset administrator passowrd. But luckily there was another administrator password through which i managed to logon.
