Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to add a second DSL router to my existing DSL router using wifi?

I ask because my DSL wifi router is upstairs and my new XBox 360 is downstairs. I have an extra DSL wifi router (netopia) that i would like to connect to the xbox (with cable) that will connect wirelessly to the main DSL router upstairs so i can go online with the xbox.

I know I could just buy the Xbox wifi card but would like to get this to work.

Thanks All

I've always had problems with wireless bridging, either that or I just give up too soon. I always end up running a cable to the second router/WAP/modem etc. I understand you want to work with what you have so maybe routing a cable outdoors & back in will do the job, otherwise I'd recommend Powerline Networking.

I would prefer to run a cable but main Netopia router is upstairs and Xbox is downstairs.

I could get the MS wifi card or ethernet over powerlines but i have a spare router and would like to get it to work.

Cheers
