how to configure a voice mail box to make global voicemail message

Hi,

I want to broadcast a global voicemail message to everyone's voice mail. How can I configure a voice mail box so that I can log in the voice mail box, use code 75 to compose a message and then send out the message? I am using Meridian Mail System.

You need to create a distribution list, or 2 depending on how many people you want to include, then you can compose a message and send it to the specified list. That will send the message to all those included in the list.

in the class of service for both the sender and rec, you'll need to check if they have send/rec global allowed.

Broadcast mailbox is usually 5555 - unless that is your DID range. Create a message in the broadcast mailbox and it will be delivered to EVERY mailbox on the system

Also make sure that broadcast is allowed in the mailbox COS that you assign.
