Hi,

I need to know how to clear all the jobs off a print queue. Is there a quick command. I've been cancelling the jobs one by one and they're disappearing but there's over 1000 jobs on it. I've tried stopping and starting the queue but this has no effect. Any ideas ?

thanks !

Actually I got another command:
enq -X -P <q name>

notice that does not work on remote host queues, such as JetForms on a remote NT server. in that case you can still move to a different queue (-Q), even a down queue, fix things and move them back. IBM Certified -- AIX 4.3 Obfuscation

Hi,

U can directly delete the queue files from command rm /var/spool/lpd/qdir/*

or got to directory /var/spool/lpd/qdir and use ls to list the print queues and delete all the queues or u can delete the specific que directly.

i hope this resolves ur problem
