Nortel Option 51C operator station M2250 Question:
Does the PBX have the ability to produce a report on in/out calls by day & time? The questions is pertaing to the operation station only. New supervisor is convinced staff is just hangin and making personal calls all day and at night. We do a pc connected to a serial port on the PBX that dumps data ( Like a call Buffer ) and I can view what calls are made and when. it pretty generic and works for me but thast not good enough. we used to have a call buffer connected a couple of years ago that had software that created this specific info. but when the harware died it was not replaced. thus the pc buffer into text file. Is their any other way to do this via thru a load or simply suggest purchase the hardware that fail any help would be cool.

If you have OTM you might be able to build a customer report and use filters to get info you desire on operators

I bought a CDR program on Ebay from this company for $49 and it works fine, it does 100 phones. this is the person I dealt with after I got it. You cam go to there Web Site and check it out.

Thanks I will check on the OTM and I will also give Bob a shout out thanks

I'm asked to do outgoing call reports all the time, but, I've never had much success with inbound call reports.
Also, I think OTM must be pulling cost collections in order to get the report data.

Log in to OTM
In OTM select Telemanagement
Select Telecom Billing System
Select File
Select Reports
Select Cost Analysis
Select Extension Detail Report
Select output to screen
Click on the ellipse box next to filter
Click on ADD
Make a filter name and report name, the report name will appear on the top of the report.
Select Call Date tab
At From and To: input the dates in this format 09/09/2006
Select Extension/Trunk tab
In ID type select Extension
In Originating section, If you want only one extension report enter 500 - 500, you can do a range of extensions: 500 - 510
In Terminating section, same as originating
Click OK
Click OK
Click GO
The report will appear and you can print from the screen.
