Hi I'm a newbie at this and learning as I go. I enherith this switch and it has taken a while to find out the basics in and outs of it but it's being very interesting. I have a new challenge that I'm bumping my head to the wall. I was asked to change the system speed dial number 58 to dial an ext for a manager and I don't know how to print and change this. I know ld 18 is where you create a new one but what I need is to change where this particular one routes to. for example if anybody dials 55 it goes to ext 8600 which is the operator, if they dial 56 it goes to the spa 1856 etc. etc. I know that the whole system uses xlst 3. Can someone guide me Plase!!

I doubt there is XLST involved. Print the Speed Lists in LD20

REQ PRT TYPE SCL

Then Change type SCL in LD18

If it's a System Speed list, Change type SSC in LD 18. Hit return to STOR. Enter 58 [space] the manager's number. Hit return back to REQ.

Ah yes, I see it was System Speed. So everything I said was SCL "Speed Call List" is really SSC for "System Speed Call"

I did go to LD 20 and:

req prt
type scl
<enter>

But it goes for ever and I can't really know where this is. But to give you an Idea of how most phones are programmed here is en example:

PS. I don't have a pc hooked up to the switch I have a dummy terminal VT520 so I can't do a file capture.

I DID A LIST ON SSC 0088 AND IS 500 LONG SO I DON'T KNW HOW TO GO ABOUT THIS !!!HELP!!!!

In LD 20:

REQ: PRT
TYPE: SCL
LSNO: 3
RNGE: (hit return)

This will show all entries in list 3. See if Bin 58 is the one you want to change.

Go to LD 18:
REQ: CHG
TYPE: SCL
LSNO: 3
(hit return to STOR)
STOR: 58 [space] xxxx

See if that works.

Oh, ok. It is a pretranslation list. Try this:

In LD 20:

REQ: PRT
TYPE: PRE
CUST: 0

Post what you get from that.

REQ:

Is it too much trouble to print and post SCL lists 0-9?

So the users dial 58 directly, they do not press the System Speed button 1st? I just want to make sure we are dealing with pretranslation and not system speed.

Yes you are correct. There's no need to press *1 or anything else. How do I print these list?

LD 20
REQ: PRT
TYPE: SCL
LSNO: x (do 0 through 9 one at a time)
RNGE: (hit return)

Before posting, look through all of the lists. See if you can figure out where 55 dials 8600 and 56 dials 1856. That might tell you what 58 is doing and where you need to change it.
