How to change the physical phone for an extension 1

Hi, This is probably a very simple question, but I've just been given our phone system to look after and have had no training or experience. We are running IP Office 5.0(24) with a selection of Avaya 1603 and 1608 phones. I need to change the phone on one of the extensions from a 1603 to a 1608 and would be grateful if someone can tell me how this should be done.

Hit the A (menu) button and then scroll down until you get to Log Out then you can log back in with that extension on the 1608.
