Hello,
I hope you can help me to solve the following problem.
How can I change the standard dial tone in the definity. When I pick up the phone I here a busy tone but calling is already OK. Only the Modem to configure the Definity waits for a dial tone and it can be changed in the Definity configuration Software. When I call a 0 for trunk calling the standard continouse dial tone appears. In the second Definity intern and extern dial tones are OK but in the first one i can´t find the step to configure this.
Thx for help.
Greetings

Heiko

Go to "ch sys country" and look for PBX-dial and Secondary dial. (around page 7 or 8)

Our switch is set up like this:

PBX-dial 1: 425/-4.0 duration: 1000 ms
2: goto step: 1

secondary-dial 1: 350+425/-4.0 duration: 1000 ms
2: goto step: 1

Note:

This all depends on your country. Plan your work............Work your plan

Thanks for the tip, but i can´t change the "system-parameters country-options. I checked the entries in both PBXs and in the "busy"-tone one are two entries more (PBX-Dial and rep-Confirmation) .....
Is there another way to change this or must I call my distributor?
thx a lot

Heiko

We always use the same default in every switch we deliver but perhaps something went wrong with the setup.

If you can't change this, ask your distributor to change this for you.

Good luck! Plan your work............Work your plan
