how to change auto-naming after creating mailboxes

When users want to select another user to send an e-mail in Microsoft Outlook, the exchange userlist is sorted by firstname, lastname. I want to change that to lastname, firstname. Is there anyone who can tell me how to do this? I don't want to re-create all mailboxes.
