Rather than keep building a form to open and save files there must be a way to call the File | Open feature that most Windows programs use. In the examples that came with my VB6 suite there is an example but it is not all there. It is missing the function that the code is calling. Any ideas?

Thank you,

MrMajik

TLowder,

Thank you for the reply. That is so easy I never knew it was there and I have been coding VB for around 10 years. When I needed a File Open, File Save as... etc. feature I just created it. Sometimes the obvious is right in front of your nose and goes unseen.

Thank you,

MrMajik
