Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone knows how to call forward an external number. For example I want to call forward an Ontario number from calgary office phone. Is this even possible?

GHTROUT,

The current phone system i am using is a option 81 Nortel. I dont relly understand your instructions, I m using OTM to perform Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletes. I need to forward a m3903 phone to a external cell phone, so when someone dials that persons desk phone (m3903), it will ring, and then forward to his cell. Please let me know if you need more information about my situation.
thanks

Your post read a little like this: "I am in one city, but want to turn forward an/off from another city". That's how I read it.

Either way, for you to forward someones phone on a periodic basis, you either have to be at that phone, or use the Remote Call Forward feature. Neither of which are possible with OTM.

As of your last post, you are describing "Forward No Answer" which is not the same as "Call Forward" To make a phone ring a few times, then after no answer go to a cell phone, just change the "FDN" value to the full number, like 91NPANXXNNNN

allow external fwd in the class of svc. change cfw x (usually 4) internal fwd to the number of digits you need to dial.. if 16 digits are needed including access codes then program the cfw key as cfw 16. cfxa in the class of svc. then the user can activate when needed from their phone. but watch out for fraud....
