Hello

I have a legal copy of WIndows XP home and i was wondering if anyone knows how to bypass the windows activation, i already have it installed on my PC but i installed it on my older laptop and i didnt know you could install it on only 1 computer and i called and they told me i could either buy a licence for 84 dollars or just uninstall it from either computers but i cant uninstall and install any of the earlier versions of windows because i have already converted the hard drives to NTFS. SO i cant go back. Your help would really be apreciated thanks

Why can't you go back to FAT32? Start with a Win9x boot floppy and remove the NTFS partition, and create a FAT partition. Or you can purchase a licence for your software, if you bypass activation your first statement of "legal copy" goes out the window (no pun intended), and in fact are commiting what is know as "casual piracy", which is exactly what the activation is designed to prevent.

Fdisk and format will take off NTFS...or pony up the bucks.

Howdy:

You can always go back.. but, you have to "pay the piper" to move forward !!!
