I'm creating a few reports on Crystal from our MAS200 Data, So far I've got excellent results. I've been able get all the information wanted except that it's the wrong year. The Data contains years 2000 thru 2002 and when I get the amount by periods I'm always getting the ones for year 2000.

I created a parameter and inserted it on the report applying different years and still get the same years. I've used crystal for just a month, but I've read like crazy for the last two weeks and still can't figure out what to do.

I was thinking or maybe a formula combining the periods with the years, but I don't know how....

I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!!!!

I'm not experienced with MAS200 data, but I'm sure someone will be able to help, with a little bit more information.

Personally, I'd like to know how the year field is stored in the database. Is it a date string? a true datetime field? a numeric date? etc.

Creating a parameter is just half the battle, you must also tie your parameter field into the record selection formula to restrict the report to just the records you want.

Click on report, edit selection formula, record, and I am sure you will see why you are not getting the expected results. Post back if you have any questions.
