Hello,

I need to allow a manager to call a 900 number for verification. I am not quite sure how to accomplish this task. Can someone show me steps to set it up?

Thank you

very good chance it;s not built.. so print one npa that is there.. it points to a rli ld 86 prt rlb.. that will show you the route.. new rlb entry 0, use the same route and USUALLY frl 7.. then go back to 90, new 0 net ac1 npa 1900, rli x.. points that call to your new rlb.. now on the set in question.. change his ncos to 7

Be aware: Your manager needs to find an alternate source for getting pay-per-call information. 90% of all 900 numbers are for sexual services, and when someone [a hacker] finds out you opened up 900, you're in for a rude awakening in losses. It's even more expensive then international calls to Arab countries.

DocVic has a good point. What I do is only allow the 1900 number that is required. Program as johnpoole stated but at the SDRR prompt enter ALOW; at the ALOW prompt enter the 7 digits that the user would dial AFTER the 900.

Good morning,

Thanks for your input. This is what I have for 1900 in LD 90

NPA 1900 555 9675
RLI 5
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

How can I change the NPA 1900 to a different number?

I tried to out the 1900 above and rebuild with a new one but it gave me err ESN073 which is conflict with another (NPA, NXX, etc.). Enter new SPN number.

Can you help? Thanks

Yes I checked.

it gave me err ESN0071, it said NPA, NXX, etc., specified, does not exist.

I prt all SPN number and looked through it and we dont have 1900 under SPN. The only 1900 we have is under NPA.

When entered in this manner, you have to put the spaces in when you are adding or deleting. You must have more 1900 numbers programmed either as NPAs or SPNs as bigindian65 says.
