Unzip the installation file to c:\perl2exe and add the directory to your path.

That's a message I get when trying to install a program that works through the command line but I have no idea what it means about the path. I unzipped the exe to C:\ like it said but it keeps saying it's an unrecognized... when I run it from the command line on XP home. Any idea what they mean by add the director to my path?

From Win2k (not on a XP Machine but believe it the same.
Right Click My Computer > Properties
Advanced Tab >Envoiroment Varibles.
In System Varibles box, scroll down you will see Path then something similar to (hopefully not the same ohterwise you have VERY strange home setup). Double click to open the path up and scroll to the end.

c:\ASE12CLT\OCS-12_0\dll;c:\ASE12CLT\OCS-12_0\bin;........

As you can see the are many c:\xxxxin there all seperated by a ;
Stick the path at the end of this and finish with a ;
Thats it done. It's instant on 2k and XP so the app should work.

Have fun
