Hello
at work we are trying to access folder's in outlook for the design purposes of machines.
but in delegate tab, i added the person whose inbox i want to check, and did the same for the front person.
and when i try to open it, i get a message "unable to display the folder. the inbox folder could not be found"
Any ideas, whts the fix for it?
thanks

The person who's inbox you want to access needs to set you up as a delegate and then designate your permissions rather than you set him up as a delegate for your inbox.

Is that what you did? I wasn't sure by the description mentioned. joegz

I am sorry if I was not clear enough.
In the other persons machine I am in the list of delegate and so as he in my list.
that user is added in the delegates list, but when i select that user my permissions tab is disabled.
so wht next I m suppose to try.
Thanks

I assume there is an Exchange server being used so then the question is are you set to have your mail delivered to a personal folder or to the Exchange mailbox?

You can't set permissions if mail is being delivered to a personal folder. Check this under TOOLS - SERVICES - DELIVERY.
