Hi all, are anyone know how to set up windows NT so I can use my email?
right now I can't use my email at all whether it is hotmail or yahoo eventhough I still able to browse the internet.
my networking set up is I have 1 Windows NT PC and 1 Windows 2000 PC both connected to internet by using a router that connected to cable modem. my Windows 2000 PC is fine(both email and browsing works perfectly) but my NT can only browsing but not emailing.

I heard this somewhere that under networking windows NT need to be setup to enable emailing.
Can someone help me with this, thank you very much.

note: can firewall from the router cause this? but my NT is still able to browse though and my Windows 2000 even able to browse and email.

if u can access the internet you should be able to access yahoo and hotmail, because it uses their servers, so u r jus on port 80

unless u try nd use an email client, then maybe you hav a port closed or sumthing

have u checked your internet explorer settings? make sure u have rights on there
