How many table that we could make at 1 database?

What is the best condition:
make many table only at 1 database, or
make some table at some database.
(both of them have the same total table)

Thank you in advance.

You can have as many tables as you like in a database. Normally you would have all tables for a particular system in a single database. For example, your company's business data would all be in one database, while your sports club membership data would be in another database, as there is no link between the two.

Thank you for the answer. From now, I don't have to worry add more table at my database (now I have about 46 table at 1 database)

Thank's

46 tables? You should know that larg ERP systems have over 3000 tables in a single database :)

As for myself, the largest I worked with was a database with over 300 tables.

Wow, 3000 table in 1 database. I think MySQL also can do like MS SQL does. Thank you very much for give sample number of table at one database.
