Geez, Access is not much of an enterprise level DBMS is it? 25 user recommended limit, 1 gig max db size (97 anyhow, don't know about 2000).
Quick question though, does Access support stored procedures? As far as creating a command object in VB and using it to run a stored procedure that returns a recordset object? Is this possible with an Access db? (maybe this should be a seperate post...
Correct. Access isn't an Enterprise RDMS. It is a desktop RDMS, development environment, reporting tool, GUI interface, etc.
Access 2000 has a 2GB size limit.
Native Access using the Jet DB Engine doesn't support stored procedures. Access projects support stored procedures on SQL Server or MSDE. Terry L. Broadbent FAQ183-874 contains tips for posting questions in these forums.
