You can add as many as you like, but only 3 will work as that's all that's supported, I know this as I read the docs

Aux. power source.
Or can it be powered from the POE Switch.

Sorry SAP is a term used in Nortel land for station aux power for the BLF mods. My question is can all 3 work from the power from a POE switch or do I need a Power brick at the phone.

Nevertheless, if your PoE switch can deliver enough power then you don't need a extra power injector.

For a DS type of phone you always need a external PoE injector but for IP Phones a PoE switch will do.
I have installed enough of them to be sure.

Also when all three are programmed full with buttons?
I think it will draw too much power for some POE switches.
But if you have high power POE ports then it could work fine.
I always try with POE first and i had no one fail so i share your thoughts.
I just wanted to remind the topic starter that a power brick should be used if you want to be supported.
You and i both know what Avaya will tell him when there are problems

We only use proper PoE switches like HP or hum.. Cisco without any problem.

if you use switches that support PoE+ then you should have no issue.
That is enough to power small motors to adjust cameras and should be plenty to light up a few LED's on a phone.
It also depends if your cable is good because if you have a bad connection on the power pair then you will lose more than you send through.

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.
