How make CONNECT BY in Access SQL?

I'm working with Access 2000 and ColdFusion to make a web forums.

¿Someone knows how can I make a "connect by" (Oracle) or somethin similar in Access?

Access has no root/tree sql functionality (at least up to access2000), it would have to be hand-coded.
