I have a link on our intranet site to a crystal report. Then a user has to enter a login and password for ODBC connection for cryatal report. How to do a crystal report so that a user doesn't have to enter login and password.

Thanks in advance

Security isn't saved within a report.

You might want to mention which software you're using and the version, otherwise you're just wasting everyone's time, and your own.

You might do a pass through, but since we've no idea how you're opening this report, it's difficult to advise you.

I'm using Seagate Crystal Report 8.5 version. I connect to SQL database using ODBC connection. I have a stored DSN name for connection.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks

Now I'm trying to connect my Crystal Report to SQL Server by using '.udl'(ole db - Microsoft Data Link) connection. There is an option to save password but it still asks users to enter password... Is there is any way to save the password so that a user doesn't have to enter it when he opens a report.

Thanks in advance.
