Hi there

We currently use static Ip Addresses and we are going to be going down the DHCP route, we have Cisco 1721's at remote sites and 2600's at our main site (DHCP Server is based at main site with 2600's)

I was just wondering what the syntax is to specify DHCP on a fastehternet interface? and how that integrates with the other router at the remote end?

Routers are connected via a leased line using a serial Wic2T card

Regards

Jamie

If your going to use DHCP on your routers, then you want to put them at each Fast Ethernet or Ethernet interface that you want to serve addresses from. Or you can use a DHCP server at the main location, create your pools and just use helper-address at each remote location to point back to your DHCP server. Depends on what you prefer. Central management or distributed management.
