How do you turn on the delete menu option?

How does one activate the delete menu option for a table? I have Access 2003 with a SQL Server 2000 back end.

What do you mean by "delete menu option for a table"? Do you want to be able to delete a record from a table linked from SQL Server? Does your SQL Server table have a primary key that Access knows about?

Yes, I want to delete a record from a linked table. It does have a primary key that Access is aware of.

And are you suggesting that the Edit->Delete Record menu option is not enabled?

The edit menu at the top of the screen is working but I thought you could right-click the left box on a row to delete the row. Am I mistaken?

I can delete this way. You haven't described yet what happens when you attempt this. Please provide specific information.

Does have the user specified in the connection string rights to delete record in SQL Server ?
