How do you specify a specific icon from the shell32.dll file

I need to pick an icon from the shell32.dll file, more specific the shut down icon. How can I point to this in a registry key?

I am trying to create a false shutdown button that actually restarts the machine. I am taking over the maufacturer link in the start menu and making my very own restart button and then removing the log off and shut down options.
 
These touch on things similar, you might be able to use some of the ideas.
