Greetings,
Here is my problem, and I have been searching for it for quite a while. My company is not very large, but in the past we have had quite a few ladies get married or the visa versa, and requested that their names and email addresses be updated to reflect either past or new names acrossed all systems.
Now I have been able to cover about 99% of any instance of this previous name showing up except for in the auto-complete area of Outlook.
I have updated the user name, simple display name, Alias, and added the new email address to AD. I have also left the old email address as is, so the user could still receive email sent to the old username, but made the new one primary. However, it still shows up as "New.User <New.OldName>", whenever I type in this users name in Outlook.
Now I have drilled this down to being something to do with the LegacyExchangeDN item in the email address area of AD, but some of the instructions I have seen on this are simply to drastic to perform to simply change the name in one place.
Does anyone know an easier method to complete this task?
Your help is greatly appreciated!
