Anybody please,

I'm having a problem in Dreamweaver.

I want to make several pages for the library page that have a basic design of links on the left side and navigational buttons on the bottom.

So in order that I have the same dimensional formatting exactly the same I:

1- Go to "my computer" and make 5 copies of the file called "webresources"
2- Then I rename each file to the html that I need
3- Open Dreamweaver and pull up each file one by one make the content changes on the links

After I did this once, (for example... to the General Information page) when I opened
the other files in Dreamweaver, they all had been changed to the file that I just changed!!!

Even my original file (webresources) was changed to appear as what the General Information page now looks like.... so I lost all of my original links.

And to add to this... it also changes all of the files on the server to reflect these changes!

All of these changes happened, even though I did not actually save the file I was working on and "revert" was not available. What is happening?

Fortunately, I have a current file saved on a Zip Disk.... but this is very frustrating...

How can I make duplicate pages without this happening?

Thanks,
