Trying to get a self-signed certificate installed but having problems.

Basically all is "working". You enter and you are promted with the certificate information. I go through the process of installing the certificate but as soon as I leave the site and come back to it I get prompted again.
If this helps it is an SBS2003 Server with just about every possible patch I could find. Port 443 is open and the certificate service is installed and running.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

VPNing,

It sounds like the problem is with the browser, rather than the IIS server. The browser may not be installing the certificate when you agree to install it, or there may be a trust issue between the client computer and the IIS server.

I'd start with looking at Internet Options (in IE) on the client machine.

I just built a machine from scratch and same problem.
Any other suggestions?
