How do you increase printer timeout?

I have a win2000 client that seems to timeout several times during the day and is then unable to print to the network printers (phaser 860 and savin 9935dp). Other clients in the domain can print to them, but this one client can print then 15 minutes later it is no longer connected to it. Rebooting sometimes corrects the problem, rebooting and reinstalling the printer fixes the problem for awhile. Reinstalling the printer sometimes works.

Other info:
NT 4.0 server acting as passthru
Both printers have network cards or axis network interface
Client can still reach other network resources (server, files, programs)

Thanks,

Hi

What kind of printer driver you installed? Is it the W2K built-in for Phaser & Savin or directly from Phaser & Savin for W2k? Try to uninstall & reinstall the driver from Phaser & Savin for W2k, also the LAN card driver.

I've tried both, w2k and Savin/phaser drivers. The same results occur (as stated above).
