What is the best way to "click on an icon" on the desktop and have it run a query? I need to run a report once a week and don't want to keep opening up the enterprise manager and paste the queary into it each time.
Thanks in advanced.

Just create a .bat file that invokes the ISQL command line method and specify an inline query or point to a query file to be executed. Place a shortcut to the .bat file on the desktop.

check out the syntax by going to a command prompt and typing "ISQL /?"

Do you need it to run at the same time, on the same day of the week (i.e. 9am every friday)? If so, create a JOB.

How about scheduling a DTS job / package? In the job you can send the query results via email.

Be sure to check BOL (books online) under 'DTS'!

Hope this helps.
