Right I have been using exchange 5.5 for some time in our organization. Now we have two other sites lets name them B and C, the main site is A.

We will shortly be connecting all three sites via a VPN connection. I'm wanting site A to connect to B and C. Syncronise directory structure and also site addressing.

Site B vpn link is 64Kb
Site C is 128Kb

I have read into this and I take it you can join to other exchange sites via connected sites under IMS settings.

Would it be best if I use X400 connector for internet mail?

Also does the organization name have to be the same on each exchange server so that they can join?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Stan..

Thanks for the information.

As for getting all three sites connected to you think X400 will do the purpose?

As long as the sites are part of the same organisation, you just create site connectors between each site.

Ensure that you have the same account with sufficient privalages in each site to do this. ie: EXCONNECT.

Login with this service account and create the connection.
