But what can you do when you attempt to chg (CDR) to YES and it does not take? We want to be able to track paging. Can this be done? CDR is on in/out going calls Via rpts in OTM. Any suggestions?

You have to turn on CDR in each route that you want reports run on.
Is paging accessed via a route acod or just dialing a phone number that is connected to the paging system.
I am thinking you should be able to change the RDB to CDR yes for any route in the system.
If it's just a plain telephone number, then you could run the report for the extension.

two ways to go, ld 20
prt
dnb
0
xxxx (the page code)

if it's a station, then turn on internal cdr for that station, icda in class, then check cdr data to make sure you have inbound cdr on..

if it's an acod (normal) just go to 16 and do a chg

ld 16
chg
rdb
xx
return down to cdr yes

Okay did the chg, and it did not take. Neither did it return an error code when chgd CDR to yes. ?? What else can be I be missing? It is a RDB.

Can you run CDR on a PAG route? How is the route configured? PAG or COT?? If PAG try as a COT and see if that will resolve your issue.

i always build my page as cot, then i can use the tfd timer to disconect the page after 3 minutes. built as a pag it had the habit of hanging up. usually an analog that had hook flashed it.

Ours is configured as a WAT, and used for a paging rte. I don't understand why it was not programed as a PAG rte. Maybe this is why?
