How do I Suppress a Blank Supreport

I have subreports that I want to suppress when they are blank.

I have ticked the "suppress Blank section" box both in the main report and in the sub report but the blank pages still appear.

New page after is also ticked in the main report.

Try something like this:

Sub Report: Check - Suppress(No Drill-Down)
{apvodet.calc_tax}=0

Main Report: Check - Suppress(No Drill-Down)
Sum ({apvodet.calc_tax}, {apvohdr.trx_ctrl_num})=0
