I am setting up CiscoWorks 2000 on a Windows 2000 Pro box. During installation i got the following error:DNS Check of kodak-idjxmc is failed for one of the following reasons
1. Your DNS is not working
2. Your DNS is slow
3. The hostname of you server is not in DNS.

This computer will not be hooked up to the internet, it will only be used on an internal network. Do I need to use DNS, and if so, how do I set it up. I know, total newbie question, but I need help!

Thanks

roostKing,

Have you learned anything about this? I have the same situation but with a NT4 server.
