Hello,

I've been searching for an answer but can't seem to find it. After installing .Net Framework 1.1, I used the control userpasswords2 command to change the password requirement to avoid the login screen. The problem now is that my system defaults to logging in with the Admin account.

How do set the default login to another account?

Thanks!

Go back and check the top box 'users must enter a password...' in control userpasswords2.
Then uncheck the box and hit apply. You will be prompted for the username and password of the autologon user.

Thanks bcastner!

That was an easy fix. Unfortunately, without realizing it, I had installed numerous programs while logged in as Administrator. Naturally, when I switch to another profile as default, things like the startup menu, the desktop, etc. are different.

I'll search for a fix on this but is there an easy way to get my "new" default profile to match the Admin profile?
