If you have any information that would be great as i cannot find this anywhere on the Avaya Site

Thanks for any help

You can download them from your 8700. Go to the web page for your S8700. Login as normal then click on SNMP Agents. Then click the link Download G3-AVAYA-MIB. Then place them on your Trap Collector.

Hope this helps
ED

1a2 to ip I seen it all

Thanks for the quick response,

I have managed to save the file by copying the text and saving it as a .mib file. Is this correct ? However upon loading it into our Castle Rock SNMP management Console software and trying to connect, it comes back with the "Device not responding" prompt. Is there anything else you can think of ?

Cheers ED

Ok sorted, Seems as though no one has done this before then.

You can take the file off the server page and rename it as a mib file. then on the SNMP server insert them in as normal. But make sure on the servers that 161snmp is ticked in the firewall settings. This then polls and can see the servers all ok.

Hope this helps some other people one day
