Last Sentence - If sierrapeac has got the Exchange mailboxes option in Backup Exec I will talk him through the restore process. ( Forgot the ,'s )
With starting services, yes, thats all you need to do, but when I tried this I had failures due to .edb errors. I searched Microsoft KB on the errors codes and they said that the log files created with the restore can cause corruptions to the .edb ( Don't ask me how ). They recommend deleting the logs and trying again. This still did not work. In the end I re-installed Exchange and did each mailbox I needed instead of the all the .edb's. There are some things that need to be done before mailboxes can be restored to over come 'access denied' errors.
