How do i replicate AD across the internet

How can i replicate the AD of two different domains(forests) across the internet.
They can only see each other via there IP address.
Is this possible.

Well, what do you mean by replicate? Do you want the ability to administer both forests from one location? If so, you'll need to set up your DNS so that both domains can recognize the other. Then you'll have to set up a trust. Then you'll need to assign permissions to whatever resources you need manually....
