My IE browser keeps returning to find-online.net, I have changed the home page, deleted cookies, offline files, cleared history but this keeps coming up as my home page and it installs two favorites. Can anyone tell me how I can remove this from the browser?

First, download spybot from
Once you install it, have it check for updates. Before you hit download updates, change the download mirror to a us site (will be faster).

When its done, use the Check for Problems option. Then, hit Fix Selected Problems when done. It may ask you to run on reboot, say yes, and reboot.

Before you launch IE, reset the home page to something else, then surf away.

If you still have problems, edit the hosts file with notepad, and remove any entries other than the default 127.0.0.1 localhost

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Spybot is an excellent program. I use it and Spy Sweeper and Adaware to prevent unwelcome additions to my system. Spy Sweeper will notify you every time some program changes your home page and asks if you want it changed back and the culprit eliminated. Your Choice.

Good Luck
