How do I remove a DHCP server that is no longer available physically on the network? Plus, that server is not listed in Active directory. Can anyone help?

Remove the service on the computer or remove the computer. Just make sure your clients have another source to get ip addresses if they are not statically assigned. The only entry a DHCP server has I've seen in active directory is belonging to the DNS update group (to allow DHCP to dynamically update DNS entries if needed). If the DHCP is on a 2000 server, then you can easily deactivate it from handing out ip's by unregistering it in the DHCP properties. Removing a DHCP service isn't like removing a domain controller. It is very easy.

Good, thanks!

I will try this.
