Plan and simple. I have two databases that have a ton of information. I would like to be able to open one database by clicking a button.

I am also assuming that the way you would pass information between forms [Forms]![FormName]![Control] is the same way to pass between the databases. I just can't seem to figure out to open the database.

You may consider linked tables.

Hope This Help, PH.

Lets see. Linked tables are good I guess. My things is this. Each database is unique in its own way. But one is the backbone to the whole operation. This database will be open a majority of the time. So, while working with this database and say I need to open the other to complete some work for a client, I would prefer to have something that opens the other database and then hopefully sends the client information to that database so that I don't have to continuosly type the information in.

Like PHV has suggested Linked tables and import the Forms necessary from the other database to update the tables. Just provide a method to switch over and use the the appropriate forms.
