A long time ago I believe I read how to modify a programs shortcut properties to automatically open a particular file when the shortcut was used.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

If it makes a difference, the program I have in mind is SolidWorks.

[Cheers]

Typically, just add a space and the filename & extension to the 'target' - something like c:\solidworks.exe myfile.swx You might need to add quotation marks around the program and or filename parameter if there are included spaces.

Ohhh, that was way too easy. [smile]

Thank you.

[Cheers]
