I have some bad users who despite my protests are using each others logins and leave themselves logged in when they go home (these are students at a university).

They are using windows xp and logging into samba2.8 which is set up as a domain.

Is there a way I can kill the users login from the server or set a time out if the user is idle?

Thanks

Mark

no ... that is done on each workstation, not with the account (i believe)
you can however lock the account and then tell them off when they come asking why their account is locked, especially if you have a policy on it.

sometimes acting the BofH will get results.
