we have a paradox database I am converting to SQL 2005 express to work with VS2005 WEB dev.
I know DTS is no longer, but can I download the new version of DTS into SQL 2005 express ?
Or
TIA

Unfortunately, DTS has been completely rewritten in SQL 2005 as SSIS, so the only way to run a DTS package is to install a specific tool with SQL 2005 to run the legacy DTS package. Unfortunately, as far as I know, SQL Express does not support running DTS packages or SSIS packages. If you want this functionality, you'll have to upgrade to SQL Standard or Enterprise edition.

Catadmin , thank you so much for the definitive answer.

It looks like we are going to need the full version anyway with the other projects we have going on.

Glad I could help. Remember that Standard has limited SSIS functionality. Enterprise has EVERYTHING for SSIS.
