Due to ISP routeing problems I have had to get the people who manage our mail server to send me the backlog (about 200 outstanding email).
I have unzipped the .pst file and tried numerous times to import it with no success. I'm using outlook 2000 with exchange 5.5 on the mail server. Outlook is currently set up for 'corporate or workgroup'
Any ideas?

If you are just going to upload a .pst file to your Outlook profile you would open Outlook click on File, then Import and Export and choose the option to import from .pst, then point the path to the .pst file and tell it to import to your mailbox-username.

Each time I try I have to run the inbox repair tool. This repairs what it can and deletes the rest. It would seem that all msg's must be in some way corrupted as I end up with an empty folder!
I have requested and received the pst 4 times now, each time with the same net result.

15Mb, far smaller than the limit for outlook I think.

15Mb, much smaller than the max size Outlook can cope with.
Why should the file get corrupted each and every time it's sent?
